About the Role
The Systems Engineer is skilled in all phases from design to implementation to working in a remote setting with team members and clients around the US. The candidate is ideally proficient in a number of technologies, including native JavaScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. They are also able to effectively manage timelines and deliverables on independent projects or collaborate with peers in a team setting.
Requirements
Develop code using various languages/tools (e.g., Javascript, SQL, CSS)

Create components and features on the server side

Understands core application logic, databases, data and application integration API and other processes taking place behind the scenes

Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement

Develop testing and technical documentation where needed
·
Interpret and translate client technical specs for the solution to be put in place
·
Leverage technical and product skills in designing the best solutions for clients
Qualifications
- At ease validating/debugging problems with excellent follow-through on issues until resolved
Solid Java, JavaScript, CSS and HTML Skills
Able to manipulate Java script libraries
Expertise with Linux
Strong usage of Node.js, Python, Sql
Experience working with databases & servers (e.g., core AWS web-enabling technologies)
Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools
Experience
Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, MIS or related field
1-2 years working in a Systems Engineering role at a technology company
