About the Role
The Senior Systems Engineer is an experienced developer, skilled in the phases from design to implementation to work in a remote setting with team members and clients around the US. The candidate is ideally proficient in a number of technologies, including native JavaScript, React.js and SQL. They are also able to effectively manage timelines and deliverables on independent projects or collaborate with peers in a team setting.
Requirements
Develop code using various languages/tools (e.g., Javascript, SQL, HTML, CSS)
Create both server-side and front end components and features
Understands core application logic, databases, data and application integration using APIs and other processes taking place behind the scenes
Compile and analyze data, processes and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
Develop testing & technical documentation where needed
Interpret & translate client technical specifications for the solution to be put in place
Leverage technical & product skills in designing the best solutions for clients
Qualifications
- At ease validating/debugging problems with excellent follow-through on issues until resolved
JavaScript, CSS and HTML Skills
Expertise with Linux and Windows Server
Familiarity with React.js, Python, SQL
Understanding databases & servers (e.g., core AWS web-enabling technologies)
Familiarity with development cycles and general programming techniques
Knowledge or experience with Marketing Automation software (e.g., Adobe Campaign, Salesforce, Marketo) would be a plus
Experience
· Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, MIS or related field
