About the Role
The Manager of Systems Engineering at CIS is a skilled technical leader with the ability to operate as a strong manager focusing on products within the Adobe Marketing Cloud (e.g., Adobe Campaign) This person is responsible for the successful technological direction for our clients and works as a liaison between the other CIS Engineers and the Consulting Services team members to design and deliver high quality, scalable technical solutions. The successful candidate will be able to display thought leadership, technical prowess, and the ability to manage multiple projects from inception to completion.
Requirements
Manage a team of Systems Engineers and Sr. Systems Engineers to ensure project goals are being met and ensure their careers are developing and progressing.

Work closely with the VP of Engineering to craft solutions to help the CIS business and Engineering Team grow
·
Demonstrate technical expertise while scoping and driving the creation of digital solutions, email campaigns, and data integration
·
Gather the technical requirements (in coordination with the Consulting Team Members) in order to craft a comprehensive and scalable solution
·
Align technical requirements with CIS standards and policies, and with industry best practices
·
Architect data feeds, platform configuration and components needed to run complex automated email campaigns
·
Proactively identify and resolve problems including client data feed issues
·
Stay abreast of industry tech innovations, new business practices & third-party technologies
·
Help us continuously improve by identifying, creating, and enhancing internal systems and processes based on recurring client requests or evolving industry standards

Act as a technical expert on Adobe Campaign when needed to serve clients’ needs
· Comfortable with client requirements and designing AC solutions with a long-term view
Lead 3-4 Lunch & Learn internal sessions to inform the team on a new tactic or technique related to AC or technology in general

Lead technical discovery or support technical discovery calls with 5 existing or new clients throughout the performance year
·
Participate in internal discovery/solution design sessions where we work out how and what can be offered to a client
Qualifications
- · Bridge biz & technical requirements to provide a seamless solution to scale & perform
· Participate and lead technology discussions with existing and prospective clients
· Responsible for the underlying client technology solution architecture
· Contribute to the larger projects in the role of senior technologist
· Develop scoping/estimating guidelines for the tech components of a client proposal
· Develop and share best practices for designated solution platform
· Experience in enterprise architecture, systems integration, & development
· Strong leadership skills, including facilitating team and client meetings
· Strong communication skills to effectively interact w/client senior management
· Experience in consulting with a track record of innovation
Experience
· 5+ years of experience in application architecture
· Previous consulting experience required
· BS or MS degree in computer science, engineering, MIS or related field
